This policy covers the website. The Windows app does not contain publisher analytics, advertising or website tracking cookies.

Necessary choice cookie

mdr_analytics_consent_v1 remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics for 180 days. It contains only that choice, is restricted to this hostname and uses Secure and SameSite=Lax settings. It is set when you make a choice so that the site can respect it on other pages.

Optional Google Analytics cookies

Once Google Analytics is enabled for this site, we ask before loading it. If you accept, _ga and _ga_* cookies can distinguish browsers and sessions so we can measure visits and relevant link clicks. Our tag sets a maximum cookie lifetime of 90 days without extending it on each visit. Cookie names and details can vary with Google’s implementation.

Rejecting analytics or leaving the prompt unanswered prevents Google Analytics from loading. We also disable it when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Advertising storage and advertising personalisation remain disabled.

Change or withdraw your choice

Use Cookie settings in any page footer. Choose Reject analytics to stop future measurement and delete this site’s accessible Google Analytics cookies. You can also remove site cookies through your browser. Previously collected data is not deleted by withdrawing consent.

Human verification and external video

Cloudflare Turnstile protects the support-address reveal on the Privacy and Support pages. It processes browser and network challenge information as explained in our privacy policy. It is separate from optional Analytics.

Demo links open YouTube in response to your click. No YouTube player is embedded on this site. Google’s own cookie controls apply after you open YouTube.

What we measure

Page visits and categories of clicks: Microsoft Store, guides, demo page and YouTube demo/channel. These events help us understand interest. They do not tell us whether you purchased the app, and never include app case files or patient descriptions.
