Privacy Policy
Effective 24 August 2026 · Publisher: Shoxy
This policy explains how Multi-Dies Renamed handles information when you use the Windows application.
Information the application accesses
The app accesses only files you deliberately select or files in the same case folder as the selected .dentalProject file. These files can contain case, client, patient or restoration descriptions entered by a dental-system operator. It stores on-device preferences for theme, filename fields and order, original-file handling, close-on-completion and the last case location. It also keeps local paths and restore details for the 15 most recent conversions.
How information is used
The selected project is read to match die numbers with die descriptions and materials. With Keep original files on, renamed copies are created and numbered source files move into Original Files. With it off, those source STL files are renamed in place and other case-folder contents remain unchanged. Processing is local to the Windows device.
Collection, transmission and disclosure
The publisher does not collect, upload, receive, sell, share or use selected project or STL contents. The app has no advertising, analytics, publisher-operated crash reporting, tracking or publisher account system, and sends no device fingerprint to the publisher.
Microsoft Store separately processes the Microsoft account, transaction, trial and device-entitlement information needed to install and license the app. The app asks the Windows Microsoft Store service whether the current app licence is active. The publisher does not receive payment details or case data through that check. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Website human verification
The Privacy and Support pages use Cloudflare Turnstile only when a visitor asks to reveal the protected support address. Cloudflare receives the technical information needed to decide whether that interaction is human, such as network and browser challenge data. No case, project or STL files are sent through this check. The verification token is single-use and the publisher does not use it for advertising or profiling. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Storage and retention
Project files, renamed STL files and any archived originals remain in folders controlled by the user. App preferences and the rolling 15-case restore history remain on the Windows device until replaced, changed, reset or removed through Windows. The publisher retains no copy.
Your choices and controls
You choose which case file to open, whether originals are archived or renamed in place, and whether the app closes after processing. History can restore either file mode. You can inspect, move or delete local files in File Explorer. Because case data is not transmitted to the publisher, the publisher has no remote copy to access, correct or erase.
Security and professional responsibility
Keeping case files secure remains the responsibility of the device owner and its organisation. Users should apply appropriate Windows access controls, backups and organisational confidentiality and clinical-data policies. The app is a file-naming utility; it does not diagnose, prescribe, design restorations or replace review by a qualified dental professional.
Children
The app is a professional file utility and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated when application functionality or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version.
